Tax status

Soul Roll Grace Outreach is an Arizona nonprofit corporation founded in 2024. Our federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt determination is pending with the IRS. Until the determination letter is issued we do not represent gifts as tax-deductible, and we will post the effective date here as soon as we have it.

Our EIN, articles of incorporation, board roster, and current-year activity summary are available to donors, grant reviewers, and partners on written request.

How gifts are used

Unless you designate otherwise in writing, gifts are unrestricted and directed by the board to the area of greatest need — most often meals, supplies, and program delivery.

If a designated program is fully funded or discontinued, we will contact you before redirecting your gift.

We keep administrative and fundraising costs as low as a volunteer-led organization can, and publish our revenue and spending on the transparency page.

Receipts and records

Every gift receives an emailed acknowledgment. Year-end giving summaries are available on request. Donation records are retained for at least seven years for accounting and audit purposes.

Refunds and recurring gifts

Mistaken or duplicate gifts are refunded in full when reported within 30 days. Recurring gifts can be changed or cancelled at any time — email us and we will handle it, no questions asked.

Gift acceptance

We gladly accept cash, card, in-kind goods that serve our programs, and sponsorships. We may decline a gift that carries conditions inconsistent with our mission, creates undue cost or liability, or comes from a source that would compromise the trust of the people we serve.

In-kind donations are acknowledged by description; the donor is responsible for determining fair market value.

Contact from us

We contact donors for receipts and thank-yous, and send mission updates only to those who opt in. You can stop any communication at any time without affecting your gift or your standing with us.

Donor Bill of Rights

We hold ourselves to the standard adopted across the philanthropic sector. As a donor, you have the right:

  1. 1.To be informed of our mission, and of how we intend to use donated resources.
  2. 2.To be informed of the identity of those serving on our board, and to expect the board to exercise prudent judgment.
  3. 3.To have access to our most recent financial statements.
  4. 4.To be assured your gift will be used for the purposes for which it was given.
  5. 5.To receive appropriate acknowledgment and recognition — or none at all, if you prefer.
  6. 6.To be assured that information about your donation is handled with respect and confidentiality.
  7. 7.To expect that all relationships with our representatives are professional in nature.
  8. 8.To be informed whether those seeking donations are volunteers, employees, or hired solicitors.
  9. 9.To have your name removed from any mailing or contact list we share or use.
  10. 10.To feel free to ask questions when making a donation, and to receive prompt, truthful, and forthright answers.
